A New Oasis for Resilience and Joy

The Dave Lee Backyard Patio is a vibrant, secure outdoor space designed to offer patients a refreshing escape from their hospital environment. This thoughtfully designed area includes creative lighting, playful furniture, and lush greenery, creating a serene and stimulating atmosphere for children to enjoy. The patio’s accessibility features ensure that all patients, regardless of their physical abilities, can experience the joys of the outdoors.

One of the standout elements of the patio is the inclusion of a fun doghouse, part of the B.A.R.K. Buddies NutriSource Pet Foods Facility Dog Program. This addition allows patients to interact with therapy dogs, providing them with comfort and companionship that is invaluable during their hospital stay.
