Recap of Our 8th Annual Chip in for Children Golf Tournament

On June 8th, Innovize took to the green along with dozens of supporters at Como Golf Course to fundraise for the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. With 79 enthusiastic golfers participating, the event featured an unforgettable 18-hole game, and a sunny Saturday afternoon playing for a cause dear to everyone’s hearts.

At Innovize, we believe in the power of community and the impact of giving back. For eight years we have fundraised through this event for a charity that gives back to those in our own backyard. Like every year, we are thrilled to announce our own contribution through our Chip In for Children Golf Tournament, an event that aims to make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families in our community.

Now for the BIG news…

Following the tournament, we were thrilled to announce the incredible achievement we reached. Thanks to the generous support of all our golfers and donors, our tournament raised more than $12,000, surpassing our $10,000 goal. Moreover, Innovize will match these funds, resulting in a total donation just shy of $25,000 to the M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. None of this would have been possible without the steadfast support of our 22-hole sponsors, whose commitment not only ensured the tournament’s success but also bolstered our ability to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives across Minnesota. We express our deepest gratitude to each sponsor for their invaluable contributions and unwavering dedication.

For those associates unable to join us on the course but share our philanthropic spirit, we provided a meaningful way to still be able to contribute. By assembling and preparing the event’s essential goodie bags, filled with snacks, tees, and supplies our associates could come together to talk about the event and share in the laughter and fun that Saturday brought. These bags, filled with essential items play a crucial role in ensuring that every participant on the big day enjoys a memorable and well-supported time on the course. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to each associate who assisted in these efforts. It’s these acts of kindness and teamwork that define Innovize.

For the second year in a row, we have to congratulate our very own Blake Andert and his team – Chris Bell, Noah Nelson, and Aidan McConnell – on their victory with a score of 11 under par.

As we look back on this remarkable day, we’re filled with gratitude and pride for the unwavering support and generosity of our community. Together, we have not only enjoyed a fantastic day of golf but also made a significant difference in the lives of children and their families. Here’s to many more years of coming together, having fun, and making an impact. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a resounding success!
